Hulk Hogan's Reaction To John Cena's WWE Heel Turn Revealed

The wrestling world is still in shock over John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025, with many calling it the best turn since Hulk Hogan at WCW Bash at the Beach 1996.

Cena aligned with The Rock and rapper Travis Scott, with the three beating Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to a bloody pulp at the end of Elimination Chamber on March 1. Hogan was asked about Cena’s turn during a conversation with The Undisputed’s Justin Barrasso, with Hogan saying the following:

“Well, we definitely can see Cena now, can’t we?” Hogan said. “We know who he is now. He’s not signing autographs or doing what he’s been doing. That’s bigger than a wrestling angle.”

“It’s one of the best heel turns I’ve seen in a long, long time,” Hogan continued. “All the major players were involved. I can’t say enough about The Rock, too - he was incredible. They did it right, I’ll tell you that.”

Hogan’s heel turn saw him forming the New World Order with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in WCW, a move that completely changed the professional wrestling business. Whether Cena’s turn will have as much of a long-term impact as Hogan’s remains to be seen.
