Ian Riccaboni Returning To IMPACT To Call ROH World Title Match
His second time at the commentary desk in as many weeks
Ian Riccaboni will return to IMPACT Wrestling for the Thursday, January 20 episode to call the ROH World Title match between champion Jonathan Gresham and Steve Maclin. He will be at the commentary desk with new IMPACT play-by-play announcer Tom Hannifan.
"Despite the actions of my former colleagues, @IMPACTWRESTLING has graciously invited me back to call the @ringofhonor World Title Bout this Thursday with @TomHannifan featuring @TheJonGresham defending against @SteveMaclin. Thank you! #IMPACTonAXSTV," Riccaboni tweeted.
The ROH play-by-play commentator first appeared in IMPACT at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 8 to announce the ROH World Title match between Gresham and Chris Sabin.
ROH have had a major presence in IMPACT in recent weeks, including at Hard To Kill when several former ROH talents in Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Vincent and PCO appeared and laid out several IMPACT babyfaces, including Heath and Rhino. The ROH Women's World Title also changed hands on last week's edition of IMPACT when Deonna Purrazzo defeated Rok-C.
