Report: AEW's Eddie Kingston Out With Fractured Orbital Bone

Back soon, Kingston hopes

Eddie Kingston is reportedly on the shelf with an injury.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Kingston is out of action with a fractured orbital bone. The Mad King is hoping to return in around three weeks.

This follows an announcement at AEW's Dark tapings on Saturday, January 15 from Tony Khan that Kingston was injured. The 40-year-old was still at Universal Studios, though, as part of the commentary team.

Kingston has been involved in a programme with The Inner Circle, 2point0 and Daniel Garcia in recent weeks. He last competed for AEW on January 8 against Joey Janela at the promotion's Dark tapings from the Bojangles Coliseum. That match aired on January 11.

Kingston was also scheduled to be in action at The Wrld on GCW on Sunday. If he will still appear at the show remains to be seen.

The Mad King's friend Jon Moxley is scheduled to defend the GCW World Championship on the show against another of Kingston's friends in Homicide. The match will be Jon Moxley's first since he took time away from the business to enter an inpatient alcohol treatment facility.
