Ilja Dragunov Wants To Face WWE Champion Bobby Lashley

WWE NXT United Kingdom Champion Ilja Dragunov wants to face WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a dream match, thinking the All Mighty will provide him with great competition. 

Dragunov recently achieved the seemingly unachievable, defeating the previously unbeaten WALTER to claim the NXT UK Championship at TakeOver 36 in August. 

The Russian is now eyeing up a special-attraction match with WWE Champion Lashley, with Dragunov believing the two would be an interesting bout for fans to watch.

Speaking with Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling, Dragunov said: "I think Bobby Lashley would be great competition. This is something that would fit with my will, with my intensity, and this is something I think people would be very interested to see it because this is a thing of power.

"The obvious power of Bobby Lashley and the power of my will and my endurance."

Lashley has reigned as WWE Champion on Monday Night Raw since March 1 2021, defeating The Miz to claim the Title on the red brand. Since then, Lashley has successfully defended the Championship against the likes of Drew McIntyre, Goldberg, Braun Strowman and Kofi Kingston.
