IMPACT Down Under Night One Results

IMPACT Wrestling held their first-ever show in Australia today as night one of the promotion's Down Under tour emanated from the Equex Centre in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. 

The pay-per-view featured three title matches, including a rematch from Against All Odds in the main event as Alex Shelley defeated Steve Maclin to retain the IMPACT World Championship. Shelley defeated Maclin for the gold on June 9 and The Motor City Machine Gun kept ahold of the gold at Down Under night one after he countered a KIA attempt into Shellshock. 

Shelley's tag team partner Chris Sabin put the X-Division Championship on the line in a Three-Way against Frankie Kazarian and New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Robbie Eagles, with Sabin retaining the gold after he decked Eagles with Cradle Shock. Joe Hendry also successfully defended his Digital Media Title against Eddie Edwards.

Elsewhere on the show, Deonna Purrazzo picked up a win over Steph De Lander, while IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Ace Austin and Chris Bey defeated Moose and Brian Myers. There were also wins for Gisele Shaw, Killer Kelly, and Slex.
