IMPACT 'Over The Moon' With Response To TNA Rebranding

The reaction to IMPACT becoming TNA once more appeared to be predominantly positive

IMPACT Wrestling are reportedly thrilled with the response to their decision to revert back to the TNA branding, with the switch-back to the classic company name starting with their Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 13 2023.

PWInsider Elite noted that company officials were 'over the moon' with the mostly positive response to the news. In addition, the company are already selling a 'we're back' TNA t-shirt.

The company will not, however, be bringing back the six-sided ring.

Hard to Kill will feature Moose challenging for the promotion's World Title (currently held by Alex Shelley) in what will be Moose's Feast or Fried title match. One would assume the IMPACT World Championship will be renamed the TNA World Championship, or some variation on it.

Also scheduled for the show is Jordynne Grace challenging Trinity for the Knockouts World Championship. Grace earned the match by winning the Call Your Shot battle royal at this past weekend's Bound for Glory.

Hard to Kill will be the first pay-per-view under Total Nonstop Action branding since Bound for Glory 2016. The company changed its name to IMPACT Wrestling in 2017.

Founded by Jerry Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett and Bob Ryder in June 2002, the promotion has traded under the names NWA: TNA, TNA, IMPACT Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling in the past.
