Six-Sided Ring Not Returning As Part Of TNA Wrestling's Revival

TNA's return won't see the six-sided ring make a comeback

It was revealed last night at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory 2023 PPV event that the company would be rebranding back to TNA Wrestling after becoming “IMPACT” in 2017.

With this comes the return of the old logo, though not everything old will be returning. One iconic trait of TNA back in the day was the six-sided wrestling ring, something which made the promotion stand out but was universally hated by many wrestlers who had to alter their style. The six-sided ring will not be making a comeback, according to PWInsider. The report stated that this wasn’t even discussed or considered, citing the reason of wrestlers disliking it.

PWInsider would reveal that new championship belts have been created, though it isn’t known if this means a return to the older designs or something completely different. These will be brought in with the TNA branding at the turn of the year, with the expectation being that the January 2024 Hard To Kill show will be the first rebranded PPV.
