Kazuchika Okada Returning To AEW On Dynamite
Kazuchika Okada will team with Orange Cassidy
AEW are welcoming back one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling on next week’s edition of Dynamite, as NJPW icon Kazuchika Okada will be in attendance on the show.
Following the events of last night in which Jon Moxley shoulder blocked AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy on his way to the ring for his Battle of the Belts VIII defence against John Silver, the pair got into a tussle. This has led to the announcement of a major tag team match for Wednesday’s show.
Jon Moxley’s Blackpool Combat Club allies Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli will go up against Orange Cassidy and Kazuchika Okada. Given the Best Friends’ affiliation with the CHAOS faction, Okada will stand by the side of Cassidy. This isn’t the only interesting dynamic heading into this clash, as there is unfinished business between Okada and Danielson after The American Dragon became one of the few men to make Okada submit in a match back at the 2023 Forbidden Door event.
