IMPACT World Champion Moose Currently Working Through An Injury

Time on the shelf coming up at some point for Moose

Could a new IMPACT World Champion be crowned soon?

Speaking with PWInsider, current IMPACT World Champion Moose revealed he was currently working through a torn labrum. The former NFL player admitted he was feeling "pretty rough" physically due to the injury but he intends to continue wrestling for the time being.

Moose noted he will need to take an extended amount of time off at some point, though, to get the injury fixed.

Moose working through the pain isn't uncommon and he previously played an entire NFL season with a torn rotator cuff.

The 37-year-old has been IMPACT World Champion for 125 days since he cashed in in his Call Your Shot opportunity at Bound For Glory in October of 2021 on Josh Alexander. Moose has since successfully defended the gold against the likes of W. Morrissey, Eddie Edwards, Matt Cardona and Zicky Dice.

The champion's next world title challenger was also revealed on Thursday's episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Find out who will face Moose at Sacrifice here
