IMPACT World Title Match Set For Bound For Glory

A big match set for IMPACT Bound For Glory

The main event of IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory pay-per-view has been made official.

The number one contender for the IMPACT World Title was determined in a Six-Way Elimination Match on Thursday's episode of IMPACT and the match saw Moose, Sami Callihan, Eddie Edwards, Bandido, Steve Maclin, and Rich Swann face off for a title shot.

After 18 minutes, Eddie Edwards emerged victorious, last pinning a fellow former IMPACT World Champion in Rich Swann following a Die Hard Driver.

With his win, Edwards will challenge Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Title at Bound For Glory on Friday, October 7, in Albany, New York.

Edwards will look to become a three-time IMPACT World Champion in the match, having previously held the gold for 97 days in late 2016 and early 2017 before a 28-day second reign in 2020. The 38-year-old has had an impressive 2022 as the leader of Honor No More, a faction composed of former Ring Of Honor talents.

No other matches have been announced for Bound For Glory as of yet.
