IMPACT World Title Match Set For No Surrender

Two former friends face off

The IMPACT World Championship match has been set for the February 19 IMPACT Plus special, No Surrender.

Moose will defend the title against his former friend W. Morrissey on the show.

Morrissey previously challenged for the world title at Hard To Kill in a Three-Way that also included Matt Cardona. The former Big Cass even had the match won at one point but the official couldn't make the count and Moose would go on to successfully retain his championship.

Having been denied the world title in his eyes, though, Morrissey demanded a rematch on the January 13 episode of IMPACT but that challenge was denied by Moose.

Morrissey got his match on January 20, though, after the big man went searching for Moose backstage, only to find IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore who booked the world title match for No Surrender.

No other matches have been announced for the February 19 IMPACT Plus special as of yet.

No Surrender was an annual event in IMPACT Wrestling from 2005 until 2015. IMPACT then revived the show in 2019 and then again in 2021.
