We inch closer to Hard to Kill 2022

IMPACT inches closer to the first show of 2022 as we traipse down the road to Hard to Kill.

The IMPACT World Title scene has gotten clearer, with Matt Cardona confirmed to be taking on Champion Moose and W. Morrissey in triple threat action. Cardona had to get through Morrissey in the main event to confirm his spot, with the two beating each other senseless all over the place before a bell even rang. When the match started Cardona came close to putting the big man away on several occasions, but Morrissey got DQ’d after laying his hands on the ref, before levelling the official with a big boot. Eventually Moose got involved, as did Chelsea Green, but Cardona left with his head held high, and the IMPACT World Championship in his hands.

Josh Alexander was in a foul mood, interrupting the proposed singles bout between Rohit Raju and Lawrence D by wiping them both out, and demanding JONAH come meet him face-to-face. Scott D’Amore informed Alexander that JONAH wasn’t in the building, leading to Alexander angrily hitting Raj Singh with the C4-Spike.

The issues between Mickie James and Deonna Purrazzo increased, as the two grabbed Chris Sabin and Matthew Rewholdt respectively and engaged in some mixed tag action. Rewholdt proved the difference maker, as he helped Purrazzo get leverage on the pin.

Rhino and Eric Young finally faced off in a huge street fight, and things quickly became an all out mess. VBD pegged Rhino back when he got an advantage, but Heath ran in to try and even things out. When Young got the advantage, Willie Mack and Rich Swann ran in for the save, only for The Good Brothers to beat them down. Young hit the piledriver for the win, as The GBs and VBD acknowledged each other.
