This weekend sees IMPACT’s biggest night of the year, as Bound For Glory arrives in Las Vegas.

Heading into the super show, all eyes were on the World Title scene, with Josh Alexander enacting Option C for a shot at Christian Cage’s IMPACT World Championship. The two have enjoyed a somewhat friendly rivalry so far, but the gloves were off as a war of words broke out in the IMPACT Zone. Cage mentioned how  Alexander will crack under the pressure, with Alexander retorting that whilst Christian is “cashing a cheque from another wrestling company, he will never be the face of IMPACT Wrestling.” Christian was right back, saying Alexander’s not the best wrestler in the world - he’s not even the best wrestler in the ring, leading to a pull apart brawl, with security scrambling to restore order.

There was chaos in the Knockouts Title scene too, with Deonna Purrazzo and Matthew Rehwoldt blindsiding Mickie James after her pick your poison victory over Savannah Evans, despite a no contact clause in effect between the two competitors. Scott D’Amore announced that Rehwoldt will be banned from ringside at Bound For Glory.

FinJuice and Bullet Club squared off in a number one contender’s match with the winners taking on IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers. Unfortunately the match was a no contest with a double pinfall being counted by two referees. Scott D’Amore later confirmed that the title match at Bound For Glory will be a triple threat for the titles.

Rhino’s future with VBD is still up in the air, as the former NWA World Champion stood conflicted in the ring. Heath came out to appeal to the old Rhino, as Heath’s kids want their Uncle Rhino back. VBD said Rhino is part of their family now, but as VBD attacked Heath, Rhino didn’t join in, leaving the ring as Heath cracked the VBD flag over Eric Young.

Elsewhere: Brian Myers cut Manny Lemons and Sam Beale from The Learning Tree, Bullet Club laid waste to Trey Miguel and Steve Maclin, The IInspiration’s representative RD Evans signed their Knockouts Tag Title Match contract on their behalf, and the six finalists in the Digital Media Championship Tournament clashed in triple threat tag action.
