IMPACT continues towards Victory Road

Chaos was the order of the day at The IMPACT Zone as IMPACT Wrestling inched closer to Victory Road.

Ahead of their IMPACT World Title bout at Victory Road, things continued to heat up between champion Christian Cage and challenger Ace Austin, with the two signed on for a ten-man tag on next week’s IMPACT. Austin recruited Madman Fulton, Moose, W. Morrissey and Brian Myers, whilst Christian brought X Division Champion Josh Alexander, Chris Sabin, Sami Callihan, and Eddie Edwards onto Team Peep.

The alliance between Callihan and Edwards may be uneasy, but they seem to be on the same page after The Draw handed Eddie a bat to fend off attack and protect wife Alisha, following Eddie’s defeat at the hands of Moose.

Rich Swann was out for revenge when he took on Good Brothers’ Karl Anderson in a Bunkhouse Brawl Match. The two went back and forth, but with Swann on the cusp of victory interference from Doc Gallows swung it in Anderson’s favour, and Sour Boy got the win after a top rope Gun Stun onto a table.

The issues between FinJuice and Bullet Club worsened when the 6’8” Hikuleo made his IMPACT debut, helping Rich Swann lay a hell of a beatdown on the former IMPACT Tag Champions after taking the L against David Finlay. It was later announced that the two teams will face off at Victory Road.

Elsewhere, Maclin got a quick win over Petey Williams thanks to a No Way conga distraction. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans stole Decay’s Knockouts Tag Titles. Josh Alexander and Chris Sabin signed contracts for their Victory Road X Division Title clash. And Mickie James vowed to introduce Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo to Hardcore Country.
