The first-ever TNA International Champion was crowned at Unbreakable 2025 from Las Vegas.
TNA have held a tournament of three-ways to crown the inaugural champion in recent weeks, with AJ Francis advancing to the final ahead of Unbreakable. The former Top Dolla was joined in the final by Eric Young and Steve Maclin following their own three-way wins in the opening matches of Unbreakable.
AJ Francis vs. Steve Maclin vs. Eric Young main evented Unbreakable and was not a popular contest with the fans in attendance, with fans chanting "This is boring" after several minutes, while AJ Francis received "AJ go away!" chants.
The finish came after 13 minutes after Steve Maclin countered a Down Payment attempt from Francis and connected with the KIA for the win. With that, Steve Maclin became the inaugural TNA International Champion.
The TNA International Title replaces the TNA Digital Media Championship, with that belt being scrapped on April 3.
Elsewhere at Unbreakable, Joe Hendry and Masha Slamovich teamed together to defeat Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard, even surviving a bizarre interference spot from Alicia Fox, who was in the crowd, while fans chanted "Racist!" at Blanchard.
Another former WWE talent in Sidney Akeem also made his TNA debut, answering Moose's open challenge. The former Reggie was ultimately defeated by Moose, though, following a Lights Out spear.
The next cinematic match from The Hardys was set up following the main event as Broken Matt Hardy invited The Nemeths to the Hardy Compound as Unbreakable went off the air.
