Indy Wrestler Vince Steele Passes Away Following Medical Emergency At Show

Independent wrestler Vince Steele sadly passed away on Sunday, March 16. He was only 39-years-old.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Steele was performing in a four-way for Brii Combination Wrestling in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey when he suffered a medical emergency, passing away later that day.
Coastal Championship Wrestling issued the following statement about Steele's passing:
"We are heartbroken to learn about the passing of 'The Jurassic Juggernaut' Vince Steele. Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and his fans.
"Rest In Peace, big man.
"You will forever be missed."
Steele, a wrestler from New York City, began his pro wrestling career in 2007. Known as 'The Jurassic Juggernaut' he primarily wrestled on the New York and New Jersey independent wrestling scenes for Brii Combination Wrestling and American Championship Entertainment. Steele was also a regular for Florida's CCW from 2018 until 2021.
Steele held multiple championships during his career, including the ACE Heavyweight Title on two occasions. He was also a tag team wrestler, teaming with Cha Cha Charlie as the Cha Cha Juggernauts.
