Injured Star Returns On WWE Raw

A WWE star returned on Raw

One of WWE's top stars is back, making their return on Monday's episode of Raw.

Kevin Owens had been off WWE TV since he was laid out by The Judgment Day on the July 24 edition of Monday Night Raw, with Owens later stating that he thought something was broken. It was then revealed that Owens was dealing with broken ribs and KO had been working with the injury in the weeks before he was written off TV.

Sami Zayn had been left to fight on without his tag team partner but KO made his return in the opening segment of Raw, helping Zayn fend off a potential attack from Judgment Day. This set up the main event match of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor and Damian Priest but that match ended in a disqualification in only two minutes.

KO would still emerge victorious on Raw, with a new main event being made official that saw Cody Rhodes join the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, while Dominik Mysterio was added on the Judgment Day side to make the main event a six-man tag team match. Owens would pick up the win for his team following a Stunner to Dominik Mysterio.

Owens returned to in-ring action ahead of Raw, competing in a dark match on last week's Friday Night SmackDown. He was then involved at a house show in Laval, Quebec, Canada over the weekend.
