An absent talent returned to action on May 17, with a dark match win prior to the live edition of AEW Dynamite.

After recently returning to the indie scene following several months on the shelf, cult favourite Abadon made their AEW return with a six-person tag match victory alongside Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue over Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose.

Abadon last competed in an AEW ring in November 2022, defeating Leva Bates on an episode of AEW Dark, before suffering what is believed to have been a broken collarbone during a match on the independent scene that same month.

A favourite with internet fans, Abadon has been with AEW since early 2020 and was a mainstay of Dark and Dark: Elevation.

Prior to their AEW return on May 17, Abadon wrestled a handful of matches on the independent scene in April, with their official in-ring return taking place on April 8 in Texas. Abadon’s last AEW TV match came in October 2021, with a loss to Britt Baker in a Trick or Treat match during a Rampage Halloween special.
