Injury Update On AEW's Griff Garrison

Latest on Griff Garrison amid his AEW absence

Griff Garrison has been out of action for the past several months but Brian Pillman Jr. has revealed his tag team partner's in-ring return isn't too far away.

"He's great. I just talked to him. He's about three weeks out from bumping. So, in about three weeks, his body will be able to withstand the punishment that the business places on our bodies. Which means he'll be very healthy in about three weeks. I'm very excited for him. As you know, Griff's a great athlete, such a great-looking kid. We had a big history, big future together, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when he comes back," Pillman told Fightful.

Garrison and Pillman had teamed together as The Varsity Blonds in recent years until their last match together in October 2022. Garrison revealed a couple of months later that he had undergone surgery to recover from an undisclosed injury.

Pillman has since formed a tag team with Brock Anderson on AEW TV and Flyin' Brian has teased "there could be a twist" when Griff returns from injury.
