International Championship Match Set For July 26 AEW Dynamite

The July 26 AEW Dynamite will feature an International Championship match

Orange Cassidy will be looking to continue his AEW International Championship reign on the July 26 edition of Dynamite, with OC set to put the title on the line once again.

Cassidy will be putting the belt on the line against AR Fox in singles competition, the first title defence since Cassidy defeated the returning Lance Archer at Battle of the Belts VII on July 15.

The title match came from a simple request on the July 19 Dynamite, with Fox’s pal Darby Allin asking Cassidy to give the indie veteran a shot at the belt. Cassidy duly obliged in his trademark nonchalant manner, with AEW making the bout official for next week.

Since winning the title from PAC in October 2022, Cassidy has turned the former All Atlantic Championship into the workhorse belt of the AEW men’s division, with 26 successful defences so far.

For Fox, this will be his second shot at singles gold since joining AEW in 2022, with his first attempt at championship glory coming in an unsuccessful shot at then TNT Champion Samoa Joe in November 2022.
