Io Shirai Vs. Sasha Banks Added To NXT Great American Bash

WWE has announced that a non-title match pitting NXT Women's champion Io Shirai against Sasha Banks has been added to night one of NXT's Great American Bash special, taking place this Wednesday night.
On the June 17 episode of NXT, Banks and Bayley retained the WWE Women's Tag Team titles over Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart. After the match, Shirai attacked both champions.
Banks issued a challenge to Shirai today, which Shirai accepted. Bayley will be in Banks' corner for the match.
The current card for NXT's Great American Bash, airing over two nights against AEW's Fyter Fest, is as follows:
NIGHT ONE (July 1)
*Non-Title Match: Io Shirai vs. Sasha Banks
*Number One Contender's Fatal 4 Way: Dakota Kai vs. Tegan Nox vs. Candice LeRae vs. Mia Yim
*Strap Match: Dexter Lumis vs. Roderick Strong
*Handicap Match: Aliyah and Robert Stone vs. Rhea Ripley (Ripley must join the Robert Stone Brand if she loses)
NIGHT TWO (July 8)
*Winner Take All Title For Title Match: NXT champion Adam Cole vs. NXT North American champion Keith Lee
