Isla Dawn Makes NXT Debut
Isla Dawn has made her way to NXT
The November 15 edition of NXT saw Alba Fyre and NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose battle for the title in a Last Woman Standing match, but Fyre would leave empty handed thanks to a surprise attack by the debuting Isla Dawn.
Fyre had Rose in her sights as she looked to crush the champ with a dive off a ladder through the announce table, but Dawn appeared at the top of the ladder behind Fyre, spitting mist into her face before throwing her through the table, allowing Rose to beat the 10 count and retain the title.
This is Isla Dawn’s NXT debut, having formerly been part of the NXT UK roster. Dawn’s last appearance for NXT UK was on the final episode of NXT UK TV on September 1 2022 (taped in July 2022), with the brand subsequently going on ‘hiatus’ as WWE put plans in motion to transform it into NXT Europe ahead of a 2023 relaunch.
Dawn joined NXT UK in 2018 after competing in a triple threat number one contenders match against Toni Storm and Killer Kelly, before making an appearance in the Mae Young Classic 2018.
