"It Feels Like WrestleMania" - Stephanie McMahon Delighted To Be Reunited With The WWE Universe

Stephanie McMahon says the feeling around the WWE Universe, as the promotion gets ready to return to live events, 'feels like WrestleMania'. 

Friday Night SmackDown on Friday evening will welcome fans back to a WWE television show for the first time since March 2020, as the company finally resumes a live touring schedule.

After 18 months away from the fans, apart from WWE WrestleMania 37, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon says she and everyone involved in the promotion are delighted to be 'coming home'.

Speaking with The Dallas Morning News, McMahon said: "Reunited I think is the best word I think I have heard. We absolutely can’t wait. Whether it’s our fans, our superstars, our employees, our partners – we just absolutely can’t wait to be back together. We’re coming home right where we all belong. 

"It feels like WrestleMania. I can’t put it into words...We were hopeful to return to live events last fall, but that obviously didn’t happen. The world wasn’t ready yet, and the country wasn’t ready yet, It’s really just been a game of timing for everyone, I think. And the time was right, and the time was right for right now."
