Ivelisse has become a regular feature on AEW: Dynamite and Dark since she returned to the promotion in July. The Huntress briefly feuded with Diamante, but the two women formed a tag team soon after and went on to win the AEW Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw. She has also faced off against NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa in recent weeks.
Fans can expect to see Ivelisse in AEW for a long time to come as the former Lucha Underground star revealed during a Pro Wrestling Junkies Q&A that she has signed with the young promotion.
Ivelisse said: "Well actually, since you asked that. I haven't been able to officially confirm anywhere yet, but I can confirm to you right now, as I asked if it was okay, I can confirm to you that yes, I am indeed signed to AEW. And honestly, that moment was very emotional for me. Especially, because throughout the last couple of years, oh my god, it's been really tough for me for many different reasons.
"Including, number one, the whole thing with Lucha Underground where we were kept in our contracts and all of that. And once that was finally terminated it took a while to regain that momentum that was lost… And also nothing really came of the WWE tryout. So, once this AEW opportunity came up I was really really happy, and when that moment came that I heard the words I kind of got overwhelmed with emotion, especially because during that same week was when the fire happened for my house."
Outside of AEW, Ivelisse is the current SHINE Champion and is a former Lucha Underground Trios Champion with Angelico and Son of Havoc.
