IYO SKY & Kairi Sane's Reaction To Carlito's 'I Gotta Learn Chinese' Ad-Lib Revealed

WWE star Carlito caused controversy with what was supposedly an adlibbed line on this past Monday's episode of Raw.

In a backstage segment, Carlito told Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, "I gotta learn Chinese" after he overheard IYO SKY and Kairi Sane speaking Japanese.

While the unscripted line reportedly caused disbelief and unhappiness within WWE, the Damage CTRL members are apparently not among those who were offended by the comment.

Discussing the furore during a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said:

"I hate even say this because people will think I'm defending the company or whatever, but I was told by the same person that told me the Carlito line was an adlib that IYO and Kairi did not have a problem with it. They saw it as him playing an idiot and that was that. That doesn't necessarily mean Carlito will not be punished for this but that's the story".

It remains to be seen whether the 45-year-old will be punished for the line.

However, if Carlito is soon removed from The Judgment Day group, it should be noted that those plans pre-date what happened this past Monday.
