Jade Cargill & Ember Moon Tease AEW TBS Title Match
Ember Moon wants a shot at Jade Cargill’s TBS Title
AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill and former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon have teased a match for Cargill’s title.
Taking to Twitter, Cargill and Athena (the name Moon is using away from WWE) had a heated exchange, with Athena responding after Cargill threw out an open challenge and stated she is ready for ‘new competition’:
“Hmmmm [thinking face emojis]…” started Athena, to which Cargill replied “Hmmmm? What? Say how you feel if you feel it. I don’t play games. Open up.”
Athena then made her intentions clear, Tweeting “Sure, Jade Cargill. I’ll give in to your request and ill say loud enough for the people in the back…even though I’m pretty sure I know the answer. GIVE ME A MATCH SO I CAN TAKE YOUR TITLE! Talk to ya boy and make it happen… I’ll be waiting.”
But Cargill had the last laugh, throwing shade at the former Ember Moon:
“You’re welcomed kid. I’m a needle mover. I’ll help you out. Clearly you need it. Looking kind of dry out there without TV.”
Moon was released by WWE in November 2021, and returned to the independent scene in February 2022, using her old ring-name Athena.
