Jakara Jackson was one of seventeen wrestlers let go from WWE over the last couple of weeks in the promotion’s annual post-WrestleMania releases. The NXT name had been building momentum alongside tag team partner Lash Legend, making some appearances on the WWE main roster together - even wrestling at the 2024 Crown Jewel event, challenging for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Jackson was let go after a near four year stay with WWE. She was a product of the WWE developmental system, debuting in NXT on a live event in 2022. For some who came through the Performance Center and ultimately got released, this can often mark the end of their professional wrestling journey as they pursue other ventures. For Jackson, it seems like she is just getting started.
Now going under the name Jamara Sade, the former Jackson took to her YouTube channel to address her future, revealing her desires to keep competing.
"Yes, I definitely want to continue wrestling. I also want to dabble in acting. The sky's the limit at this point. I want to do a lot of things, but wrestling, I'm definitely going to continue, so you will be seeing me. So keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned, because the transformation is going to be something serious. I don't like to talk about it. I like to be about it.”
Jackson would also detail her desire to win a title in wrestling - something she has yet to do. It was noted recently that it was Triple H who made the final call with WWE's latest releases.
