Jake Atlas Signs With AEW

Tony Khan has announced that Jake Atlas has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Atlas made his AEW debut this week, defeating Serpentico on Monday's Dark: Elevation. Just the day after his debut match for the promotion aired, Khan has now confirmed that Atlas has put pen-to-paper on a deal with AEW.

The AEW President has also confirmed that Atlas will be in Newark, New Jersey for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite debut on TBS before later confirming in an interview that Atlas will wrestle on this Friday's AEW Rampage. His opponent will be confirmed on Wednesday.

Atlas, replying to Khan's Tweet, said: "If only everyone knew every detail leading up to this. This means everything to me. Cliché but I REALLY have a lot to prove now. This year, whether you love me or hate me, you’re going to know me. It is what it is. Superstar is back."

Atlas had signed with WWE in 2019 and started with the company in the early part of 2020, but was released from the promotion in August 2021.
