AEW's CM Punk Invites Kazuchika Okada To "Come See Me"

Will the match ever happen?

CM Punk has responded to Kazuchika Okada after The Rainmaker revealed he wants to face Punk and Bryan Danielson before they retire.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated ahead of his IWGP World Heavyweight Title match against Shingo Takagi on January 4, Okada admitted he would like to face the two AEW talents, believing they "would make for some incredible matches."

While Bryan Danielson has yet to respond, Punk tweeted Okada on Tuesday, writing: "Here's my address, come see me: 1901 W Madison St Chicago, IL 60612 United States @rainmakerXokada," accompanied by a GIF of Andy Dufresne after he escaped from prison in the movie Shawshank Redemption.

The address Punk gave Okada is for Chicago's United Center, the venue where The Second City Saviour made his AEW debut back in August of 2021.

Punk has seemingly wanted a match with Okada for some time and the former WWE Champion mentioned The Rainmaker as an opponent he would return to wrestling to face back in November 2020, months before his eventual return in AEW.
