AJ Styles Vs. Grayson Waller Set For January 11 WWE NXT
Four matches have been set for next week
AJ Styles' first one-on-one match ever in WWE NXT has been set for next week.
Styles will finally get his chance to face Grayson Waller on the January 11 episode of NXT. The two have gone back-and-forth in the last few weeks, with Waller confronting Styles on Monday Night Raw and the Phenomenal One doing the same on NXT.
Styles showed up at NXT New Year's Evil on Tuesday to address Waller again, saying he wanted to fight him there and then. Waller refused the match, saying it deserved to be the main event before confirming he will wrestle Styles on next week's show.
Waller would then try to assault Styles, only for the former WWE Champion to get the upper hand and send him retreating.
Three other matches have also been confirmed for next week's NXT. Pete Dunne will face Tony D'Angelo in a Crowbar on a Pole Match while Xyon Quinn will face Santos Escobar with Elektra Lopez saying in an interview that she will leave with the winner.
Boa will also face Solo Sikoa.
