Jake Roberts Says MJF's AEW Dynamite Promo Made Him Sick

Jake Roberts was not impressed by MJF

It is safe to say that Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was not a fan of MJF's promo on last week's episode of Dynamite or Friedman no-showing the AEW Double Or Nothing Fan Fest.

It has been an interesting couple of weeks for The Salt Of The Earth and All Elite Wrestling as Friedman's frustrations over his contract came to a head. He first did not show up for his scheduled meet-and-greet at the Fan Fest and a flight was then booked for Friedman out of Las Vegas, although the flight booking, if one was booked at all, was reportedly a work.

Friedman did wrestle at Double Or Nothing and he then appeared on last week's episode of Dynamite and demanded Tony Khan fire him in a profanity-laden rant.

Speaking about the promo on DDP Snake Pit, Roberts admitted it made him sick.

"For me, it made me sick. It really did. I couldn't believe he no-showed this signing man, it's a big thing with Tony [Khan]. He loves these signings and he wants those guys there. For me, you don't miss something like that. This is your fans, your fan base, these people paid to get in there and you no-show them? Then you go dark, nobody can get ahold of you?" The Snake said.

Roberts has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2020 as the manager for Lance Archer. He signed a new two-year deal with the promotion last year.
