Jamie Hayter Originally Thought AEW Had Mixed Up Wembley Arena & Wembley Stadium For All In

Speaking recently to City A.M., AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter admitted that she thought the promotion had confused Wembley Stadium for the smaller Wembley Arena when revealing the venue for this August's All In event. 

Hayter explained: "I thought they had gotten it confused with Wembley Arena, which in its own right has hosted great professional wrestling shows. But nope, it’s the stadium. I was gobsmacked. I was elated. I was nervous."

Wembley Arena, a large indoor venue close to the stadium, holds 12,500 seats - a number which makes it the ninth-largest indoor arena in the UK, but still much smaller than Wembley Stadium's maximum capacity of 90,000 (although this can vary depending on the event in question.)

AEW All In is set to take place on August 27, and although no matches have yet been confirmed for the show, one would expect Hayter to be heavily involved - especially given her status as a British world champion within the company. Over 65,000 tickets have been sold for All In so far.
