Janai Kai Signed To AEW

All Elite Wrestling have signed another talent, it has been revealed.

Fightful Select has reported that Janai Kai is under contract with AEW/ROH, although it is unknown if Kai is signed to a full-time or per appearance deal. Kai has made regular appearances for Ring of Honor since Supercard of Honor in May 2026, wrestling against the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Athena, and Billie Starkz. Kai was also in action at the September 8 tapings of ROH TV in Jacksonville, teaming with Lacey Lane against Hyan and Maya World.

Janai Kai originally wrestled for AEW in 2021 and 2022, serving as an enhancement talent on Rampage and Dark: Elevation in matches with Jade Cargill, Leyla Hirsch, and Red Velvet.

Janai Kai has been wrestling since 2018. She was previously a part of Major League Wrestling from October 2023 until April 2025 and she reigned as MLW Women's World Featherweight Champion for 455 days. Kai finished up with MLW after a final match in April 2025.

Another recent AEW signing saw VertVixen put pen to paper on a contract with the company. AEW, meanwhile, have held talks with Kairi Sane but the two sides have not agreed to a deal.
