Jay Lethal Returning To ROH For Final Battle, Will Face Jonathan Gresham

ROH's last event for several months

Though he signed with All Elite Wrestling in November, Jay Lethal is coming back to Ring of Honor to wrestle at tomorrow's Final Battle pay-per-view, where he will face Jonathan Gresham.

Gresham was originally meant to face ROH champion Bandido on the card. However, Bandido has been pulled from the event after testing positive for COVID. It's not known what the fate of the ROH World title will be as a result.

After signing with AEW, Lethal affirmed that he was done with ROH, and wasn't intending to come back to work Final Battle.

News of Lethal's one-time comeback comes on the heels of Tony Khan revealing on Friday's Busted Open Radio his intention to help out ROH with their final show for several months.

It's unknown if any other AEW personality will appear on Saturday's card.

In late October, ROH announced a temporary shutdown, effective at the end of 2021. As a result, all contracted talents would be free to sign with any other organization. Lethal was among the first high profile names to do so when he appeared at AEW Full Gear last month.
