Migos To Make Guest Appearance At WWE Day 1

The group has strong ties to Atlanta

Georgia-based group Migos will be appearing at WWE Day 1 on January 1, as announced by the company during Friday night's edition of SmackDown.

No word yet on what capacity that members Quavo, Offset, and TakeOff will be appearing in, whether it's for a performance or otherwise. All three men grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, where the pay-per-view will be taking place.

Migos' single "Straightenin'" is the official theme of Day 1, the second single from their album Culture III, which was released in June. Member Offset has a prior wrestling connection of sorts, recording the 2018 single "Ric Flair Drip" alongside Metro Boomin (Flair himself appeared in the video).

The current card for WWE Day 1, taking place Saturday, January 1 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, is as follows:

* WWE World: Big E (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

* SmackDown Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston

* Edge vs. The Miz

* Plus, a special appearance from Migos
