Jay White has been out of action for several months, last competing on the March 29 edition of AEW Collision when he defeated Kevin Knight in singles action. Unfortunately for fans of The Switchblade, it may still be some time until he is seen back wrestling in AEW.

Reports emerged earlier this month that White’s injury was worse than originally believed, and another more worrying update has now emerged from Fightful Select. It is noted that Jay White’s had been dealing with a hand injury initially, but is currently dealing with a shoulder injury, and any updates have indicated that White is well away from a return. White is noted to be considering a shoulder injury, and if he pursues this, then chances are that he will miss the remainder of 2025.

It was reported recently that Tony Khan was a big fan of Jay White. At AEW All In Texas 2025, White’s Bang Bang Gang allies The Gunns and Juice Robinson returned to AEW programming after months away from the ring, but it will be a while before White reunited with his allies.
