Jay White Returning To IMPACT Wrestling

Switchblade debuted for IMPACT at Slammiversary 2021

IMPACT Wrestling have announced that former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White is returning to the company.

‘The Switchblade’ will be present at the January 21 and 22 tapings from Pembroke Pines, Florida, his first appearances for IMPACT since August 2021, when he and Bullet Club stable mate Chris Bey lost to FinJuice by DQ.

White made his surprise debut for IMPACT after Slammiversary 2021’s main event, staring down former Bullet Club members Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows after Omega’s IMPACT World Title defence against Sami Callihan. White then brought Bullet Club to IMPACT, inducting Chris Bey into the fold, before El-P and Hikuleo came across from NJPW.

Since mid 2021 White has wrestled for New Japan STRONG in the USA, with his last match for the promotion being a victory over Christopher Daniels at a live event on December 9.

IMPACT have not said whether ‘King Switch’ will be in action or not during the taping sessions.
