On last week's episode of IMPACT, Jordynne Grace announced her mystery partner in the Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament would be someone who recently retired.

Her partner was revealed last night as former WWE Women's Champion and NWA World Women's Champion Jazz. The Female Fighting Phenom appeared alongside Grace in a backstage segment and said she is looking to end her career on top by winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

She will make her IMPACT in-ring debut next week against Killer Kelly & Renee Michelle. The winners of the match will advance to the semi-finals and face Havok and Nevaeh.

Jazz announced her retirement from professional wrestling just over a month ago during an interview on The Chris Van Vliet Show.

"Honestly, I just had my last match this past Sunday," she said. "I'm done with in-ring. Last match, yeah yeah, yeah, ever. I'm done. Because my knees, I'm limping right now… I'm not gonna Terry Funk it, I'm done. I was actually going to do a whole tour for 2020 but with the pandemic happening, that kind of screwed everything up. But we'll see for 2021, I may try to do a little tour around… Well, I'm really done but I can go out there and do 45 seconds-one minute. That's all I've got."

She added: "Truthfully, I've been having some issues with my knees and my back and a lot more issues, physically, mentally and emotionally. That's why I had to just kind of forfeit the NWA Title because I was having some issues. So, I just figured I've got two beautiful daughters and I've got to focus on them right now."
