JBL stands tall in the ring at TNA Turning Point 2024

JBL has had a memorable 2024, creating buzz by showing up in various promotions (including TNA, GCW and AAA) and, inevitably, hitting someone with a Clothesline from Hell.

On a recent edition of the Something to Wrestle podcast, host Conrad Thompson brought up that the WWE Hall of Famer recently turned 58-years-old, to which JBL said:

"I was thinking about that when I turned 58. I thought, 'This is gonna be the year that some fun stuff, crazy stuff’s gonna happen'. I've been planning this for a while, and COVID happened and I got bored, been wanting to do some stuff in the wrestling business because it's what I love, it's what I always wanted to do, and now I'm getting a chance to do it. I've got some plans coming up, so hopefully this year will be a year to be remembered".

JBL credited Bruce Prichard with being the mastermind behind this latest run.

The former WWE Champion did not want his 2023 spell managing Baron Corbin to be his last memory from the wrestling business.
