AEW star Komander makes his entrance prior to a match on Collision

After Juice Robinson sustained a broken foot during his opening AEW Continental Classic tournament match with Will Ospreay, Tony Khan opted to replace him with Komander.

The masked man hasn't had much success thus far, losing to both Ricochet and Darby Allin in Gold League matches, but his performances are catching people's attention.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the 25-year-old luchador has received praise backstage for his work in those two bouts (as well as praise for his work in general).

It added that other names were considered as Robinson's replacement, but it is unknown exactly who they are.

Komander's match with Allin (which took place on the December 7 edition of Collision) was filmed at GalaxyCon. The show was said to be a major adjustment and change for people backstage, though Fightful were told it ended up going well.

Interestingly, there were a number of AEW talent at GalaxyCon who didn't appear on Collision, including Britt Baker.

Komander's compatriot Rey Fenix, meanwhile, recently made a cryptic tweet about 'inhumane treatment'.
