Jeff Hardy was reportedly sent home from the WWE Live Event tour over the weekend.

Hardy was absent from a live event in Corpus Christi, Texas on Sunday evening and PWInsider have reported that Hardy was sent home by WWE Officials from the tour. Fightful have also corroborated the report.

The former WWE & World Heavyweight Champion competed in Edinburgh, Texas on Saturday on a WWE show, teaming with Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre against Roman Reigns and The Usos. However Hardy reportedly grew sluggish as the match went on, with a fan video of the bout showing the 44-year-old looking out of sorts during the bout.

Hardy would tag out, with McIntyre getting the hot tag, before Hardy left the arena through the crowd. The Charismatic Enigma was quickly followed by security but did not return for the end of match celebrations.

Hardy was replaced in Sunday's tag-team match by Rey Mysterio.

WWE have provided no official explanation for Hardy's absence from Sunday's show or any statement on his standing in the promotion.
