Jeff Hardy's AEW Return Yet To Be Discussed

An AEW return for Jeff Hardy has not been discussed

There have been no discussions about a return to All Elite Wrestling for Jeff Hardy as of yet, his brother Matt revealed on the latest episode of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.

"That hasn't been talked about. Will it happen? Maybe. Maybe not. That isn't something that has been talked about at all at this point and it certainly wasn't going to be like, his court case is done, he shows back up on AEW Dynamite," Matt said.

Jeff has been away from All Elite Wrestling since his DUI arrest in June 2022. Hardy was suspended without pay by the promotion and he was only allowed to return if he completed a treatment programme and maintained his sobriety. Matt revealed that Hardy spent 90 days at an in-patient rehab facility following his arrest and he continued outpatient treatment for a further 80 days.

The case concerning Jeff's DUI arrest was settled in February and he was sentenced to 38 days in jail which was credited as time served. He will serve two years probation, have his license suspended for 10 years, and have two years with an interlock device. Hardy was also ordered to complete a court-mandated DUI school or drug rehab programme along with community service, and pay a $4000 fine.

Jeff debuted in All Elite Wrestling in March 2022. His last match took place at Double or Nothing a couple of months later where he and Matt defeated The Young Bucks.
