Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal advance to AEW Revolution after Battle Royale win on Dynamite
The third team in the AEW Revolution World Tag Team Championship four-way match has been set, with the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal booking their spot after victory in the Tag Team Battle Royale on the February 22 edition of AEW: Dynamite.
Jarrett and Lethal outlasted nine other teams to seal their win, with Jarrett last eliminating Best Friends’ Trent Beretta to get the victory. Lethal and Jarrett were the only full team remaining as the match drew to a close, but after Lethal was eliminated Beretta couldn’t outfox the wily Jarrett.
So far The Gunns will defend their newly won AEW World Tag team Championships against former champions The Acclaimed, and Jarrett and Lethal on March 5, with the final team set to be decided on the March 1 edition of Dynamite, when AEW host a Casino Tag Team Royale.
This will be Jarrett and Lethal’s third shot at the belts, having lost to former champs The Acclaimed twice in January 2023, first on an episode of Dynamite, then at AEW Battle of the Belts V.
