Jeff Jarrett Confirms New WWE Role

Jarrett will have a major role when it comes to live events

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has confirmed his new role within the company.

On the latest episode of his My World podcast, Jarrett said that he will be WWE's Senior Vice President of Live Events going forward.

"I'll leave it personal. What's been stated, SVP of Live Events, my passion is in live events. I'll leave it right there. It's going to be a journey that I'm excited about. As it all comes together, you know what this means, I'm so ready for year two (of the podcast)".

Jarrett and co-host Conrad Thompson confirmed that the former Intercontinental Champion will continue recording new episodes of the podcast, despite Jeff's new position as SVP of Live Events for WWE.

The Chosen One had previously worked for WWE as a backstage producer in early 2019, before transitioning to being a member of the creative team.

He then pivoted to being an executive on the live event side of things, before live events stopped as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jarrett was then quietly released from the company in April 2021.
