Jeff Jarrett Praises Adam Pearce

Jeff Jarrett has heaped praised on Adam Pearce.

The professional wrestling business could do with more people like Adam Pearce, according to Jeff Jarrett.

Discussing Pearce during a recent edition of his My World podcast, Jarrett said:

"What was cool for me, I don't know history, I was obviously in the TNA bubble. I didn't know Adam Pearce booked a Ring of Honor. I had no idea. So it went from Gabe [Sapolsky] to Adam, to Delirious... Adam is a guy...man, hard work pays off. Nose to the grindstone. Keeping on keeping on. He's engaged, he's a producer. I'm happy for that guy, he works hard. We need more Adam Pearces. It's a business, we need more of those folks out there."

Pearce not only works backstage as a producer for WWE, but is the current on-screen General Manager for the Raw brand.

Early in his career, 'Scrapdaddy' Adam Pearce worked matches for WWE as an enhancement talent and came close to signing with WCW in 2000. The 45-year-old got his start in the wrestling business in 1996. He would go on to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship five times, as well as the PWG World Title once, before retiring from in-ring competition in 2014.
