Jericho Appreciation Society Gains "Man Advantage" For AEW Blood And Guts

The cage match is this Wednesday

The Jericho Appreciation Society will have the "man advantage" over The Blackpool Combat Club this Wednesday night in the six-on-six "Blood and Guts" match on AEW Dynamite in Detroit.

At Forbidden Door on Sunday night in Chicago, Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki defeated Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta, and Shota Umino in a trios bout, where the advantage was at stake.

Despite Umino firing up late in the match and putting Jericho into his own Walls of Jericho, Umino was pinned by Jericho following The Judas Effect.

In Blood and Guts, Jericho will team with Guevara, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker to face Kingston, Wheeler, Jon Moxley, Santana, Ortiz, and a yet to be revealed sixth member.

The sixth man on the "Blackpool Combat Club" team is a replacement for the injured Bryan Danielson. The mystery man will be revealed later at Forbidden Door when he faces Zack Sabre Jr.

Wednesday's Blood and Guts will be the second in AEW's history. The first took place in May 2021, when MJF's Pinnacle defeated Jericho's Inner Circle.
