Jerry Lynn Face-To-Face With Jack Perry & More Announced For AEW Dynamite

Jerry Lynn and Jack Perry set for meeting on August 2 AEW Dynamite

August 2 will see All Elite Wrestling broadcast the 200th edition of Dynamite, and several segments have been announced for the landmark episode.

As seen on the July 26 Dynamite, FTW Champion Jack Perry was in a cocky mood, running down FTW Championship creator Taz and ECW, prompting AEW coach and Ring of Honor Director Jerry Lynn to confront Perry. Lynn, a former ECW and ROH World Champion, chastised Perry, and told him he’d get his ass kicked if he kept disrespecting those that came before him. Perry said he’d see Lynn next week on Dynamite to a chorus of boos.

With The Jericho Appreciation Society falling apart at the seams, Chris Jericho reluctantly accepted a proposal from Don Callis to team with Konosuke Takeshita, with the two set to face JAS members Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia in tag action on August 2. Garcia and Guevara gave Jericho the cold shoulder after their recent Blind Eliminator Tournament loss against Adam Cole and MJF.

After a three-way clash between The Blackpool Combat Club, Best Friends, and Lucha Brothers descended into chaos on July 26, a triple threat Anything Goes Match between Jon Moxley, Trent Beretta, and Penta El 0 M has been sanctioned for Dynamite 200. Expect blood.

Announced for AEW Dynamite 200 - August 2, 2023:

  • Chris Jericho & Konosuke Takeshita vs. Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia
  • Jon Moxley vs. Trent Beretta vs. Penta El 0 M - Anything Goes Match
  • Jack Perry and Jerry Lynn face-to-face
