Jerry "The King" Lawler Says WWE Universal Champion "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt Wants A Match With Him

The Fiend vs. The King (not Corbin)...

Despite being 70-years-old, Jerry "The King" Lawler is still wrestling on the Independent circuit and recently won the CWA Arkansas Heavyweight Championship. Lawler would love to get back into the ring in WWE, but having had an on-screen heart attack back in September 2012, the company is reluctant to clear him for in-ring action.

Despite this, The King revealed on the latest episode of The Jerry Lawler show that Bray Wyatt told him he would love to have a match with him in Memphis, Tennessee. This would have built on from their segment together back in August on an episode of Monday Night Raw when The Fiend choked out the Memphis Wrestling legend with The Mandible Claw.

Lawler said: "You know, after we did the little thing a while back on Monday Night Raw before I was back doing the hosting, I just came on for the guest appearance, Bray Wyatt came to me afterwards and he said 'King, I would love to work with you down in Memphis.' And I just thought back then what matches I could have had because he was the perfect kind of a heel we would have brought in down in Memphis. Big scary monster type...That's the kind of people that I love to work with and have matches with. I would love to have a match with Bray Wyatt or The Fiend."
