Speaking on AdFreeShows.com, AEW commentator Jim Ross admitted "an argument might be made in AEW that we have too many talents."

The AEW Rampage announcer added: "We got a lot of talent... You don't want to start cutting the roster because that's not my job, I could certainly handle it if it were. But, we have a lot of people coming through. Tony Khan is always looking to give guys opportunities, you never know what you'll find."

The size of All Elite Wrestling's roster has been heavily debated in recent years, with AEW having everyone from top stars like Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Jon Moxley under contract to talents who primarily work the promotion's YouTube shows Dark and Dark: Elevation like Brock Anderson and Zack Clayton.

The promotion utilises a range of contracts from full-time guaranteed deals to per-appearance agreements.

It can often be hard for AEW to put all of their talents on TV but that could be set to become easier, with the promotion expected to announce the creation of a third TV show by July. Tony Khan has revealed that a "huge announcement" will be made on tonight's episode of Dynamite in Long Island.
