Roman Reigns Considered The Favourite To End 2023 As Undisputed WWE Universal Champion

Fiver on that...

Roman Reigns' current run as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is creeping up on 1,000 days.

Currently on day 948, The Tribal Chief look set to hold the belts for a little while longer, after Cody Rhodes failed to 'finish the story' in the main event of WrestleMania 39.

According to the latest betting odds, Roman is also the favourite to end the year as champ.

Per the odds released by BetOnline, Reigns is out in front with 20/23 odds. Cody, meanwhile, shares second spot with The Rock (both at 2/1). If Reigns reaches the end of the year as champion, he will have enjoyed 1,218 days with the gold.

Some have speculated that he may drop the titles at King & Queen Of The Ring on May 27, which would end his reign at 1,000 days. Others have suggested that WWE may choose to book the switch for SummerSlam, since that is the same event that Roman returned at in his current persona in 2020.

If the bookies are to be believed, Reigns may not be letting go of his titles anytime soon.
